Key responsibilities include operating binding equipment such as trimmers, folders, and stitching machines, binding printed materials using different techniques such as perfect binding, saddle stitching, and case binding, inspecting finished products for quality control, maintaining a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and procedures, and collaborating with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring the highest standards of craftsmanship. The ideal candidates should have experience in bookbinding or related fields, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
